Got a favorite waterway you wish you could bring home with you?
Let's collaborate.
How It Works
- Get on the list --- commissions are only done at specific times of the year, in between collection releases. The first step is to email me to be added to the commission wait list!
- Get selected for a commission --- When a commission cycle opens up, I will contact you to offer you a spot. If you're ready, move forward to step 3. If not, you can can be added back to the list for the next commission cycle.
- Share Your Vision — Shoot me an email about your ideas, inspiration, and what you'd like to see in your custom painting.
- A little back and forth — I'll ask some clarifiers, send either a sketch or examples of previous work for your approval.
- Approve the Design — Review the sketch and let us know if any adjustments are needed.
- WAIT --- commissions take awhile, usually somewhere between 3-5 weeks.
- Receive Your Finished Sculpture — Once completed, we'll get back in touch and get it delivered to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the typical turnaround time for a commission?
Most commissions take 3-5 weeks from the time your design is approved, depending on the complexity and size of the piece. We'll provide you with a specific timeline when we discuss your project.
How is pricing determined?
Commission pricing is based on several factors including the size of the artwork, complexity of the design, whether a new mold is required, and turnaround time. Generally you can expect to pay 20-40% more on similar size pieces from a collection.
What reference photos do you need?
The more reference materials you can provide, the better! Multiple pictures from multiple angles, color examples, all the good stuff. Clear references help capture your vision accurately in the initial concept phase. Having pictures if the location/room you are planning to display it helps enormously!
What is your revision policy?
We include one round of revisions on the concept sketch at no additional cost. This allows you to request changes before sculpting begins. Additional revisions beyond the first round will incur an extra fee, which will be discussed with you beforehand. Once sculpting has begun, there are no revisions allowed.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is included in your price estimate for the piece.
