FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most about drops, commissions, shipping and caring for your piece.

Drops & early access
How often do you release new work?

Ashley Mossy Art releases on a collection schedule. You can expect 3–4 releases a year.

How does early access work?

Email friends get password-protected early access to every collection drop, and a sneak peek email 2–3 days before a collection goes live, with pictures and pricing.

How do I become an email friend?

Sign up with your email at the bottom of any page for sneak peeks, sold-out warnings and first dibs on commissions.

Should I create an account before a drop?

Yes! Create an account at ashleymossyart.com before release day so you can check out fast.

Commissions
Do you take commissions?

In between collections, Ashley takes on a handful of commission requests, and those spots are always offered to email friends first. Request one on the Commissions page.

Shipping
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

Nearly everywhere, but anything outside of the continental US has an additional shipping fee. You’ll see it at checkout based on your location, or it will be discussed ahead of time before agreeing to a commission.

How are pieces packed?

With a LOT of layers. The water sculpture itself isn’t terribly fragile, but the frames can be. First step is brown packing paper, then bubble wrap, then a sturdy box!

Caring for your piece
How do I care for my piece?

Dust with a clean lint-free cloth. If things get real crazy, a little gentle dish soap and water will set you back to rights. The more resin is exposed to heat and sunlight, the faster it ambers, so hang yours inside and away from hardcore direct sun paths.

DO hang it below an art light or overhead light — it mimics the sunlight effect without the UV issue.

How do I hang it?

All pieces come with sawtooth hangers or French cleats already installed to the frame or backer board.

Returns
Can I return a piece?

Nope. But if something goes wrong in transit and there is damage, please let me know. We’ll make it right!
